2. Starting prices and custom quotes
Prices shown on the website are starting prices.
Final quotes may depend on:
- Stem count
- File condition
- Vocal quality
- AI artifacts
- Project complexity
- Revision requirements
- Urgency or deadline
- Amount of repair, editing, rebuild or production work required
Complex projects, problematic files, heavy AI artifacts, high stem counts, urgent deadlines or advanced production work may require a custom quote.
3. Client responsibilities
You are responsible for making sure that:
- You have the rights to use all submitted audio, vocals, lyrics, samples, stems, artwork and project materials.
- You have permission to submit the materials for audio work.
- The files, links and notes you provide are accurate and complete.
- You clearly explain what you need, including references, deadlines and known issues.
- You do not submit unlawful, stolen, infringing or harmful material.
Unsaid Records may refuse or stop work on a project if there are serious rights, safety, technical or communication concerns.
4. File delivery and file links
Please send streaming links, WeTransfer, Google Drive, Dropbox or similar file links where possible.
Do not upload very large files directly through the contact form unless a dedicated upload system is provided.
You are responsible for keeping your own backup copies of all original files and project materials.
Unsaid Records is not responsible for lost files caused by expired transfer links, deleted cloud folders, incorrect permissions or third-party platform issues.
5. Payments
Payment terms are agreed per project.
Depending on the project, payment may be required:
- In full before work begins
- As a deposit before work begins
- In stages for larger or custom projects
- Before final files are delivered
Work may be paused if payment is late or incomplete.
Unless agreed otherwise, final release-ready files are delivered after the required payment has been received.
6. Timelines
Estimated timelines are provided per project and may depend on file quality, project complexity, revision rounds, client response time and current workload.
Urgent deadlines must be agreed before work begins.
Unsaid Records is not responsible for delays caused by missing files, broken links, unclear instructions, late payments, delayed feedback or third-party platform issues.
7. Revisions
Revision terms depend on the service and project scope.
Where revisions are included, they are intended for reasonable adjustments within the agreed scope of the project.
Revisions do not normally include:
- Changing the song arrangement after approval
- Replacing major parts after work has begun
- Adding new stems or vocals after the project has started
- Changing the creative direction completely
- Fixing problems caused by missing or incorrect source files
- Requests outside the agreed service scope
Extra revision rounds or out-of-scope changes may require an additional quote.
8. Creative decisions and subjective results
Audio work involves both technical and creative judgement.
Unsaid Records will work carefully and professionally, but subjective taste may vary. References, clear notes and timely feedback help guide the result.
Approval of a project stage, mix, master or revision may limit later changes unless a new revision or additional work is agreed.
9. AI-generated and AI-assisted material
Unsaid Records can work on AI-generated, AI-assisted and hybrid music projects.
AI-related services may help improve audio quality, balance, tone, artifacts, stems, release readiness and overall presentation.
However, AI-related work does not guarantee:
- Distributor approval
- DSP/platform acceptance
- Copyright clearance
- Content ID clearance
- Originality verification
- Monetization approval
- Protection from takedowns, claims, disputes or rejections
Final platform decisions depend on distributor, DSP, copyright, content policy and detection systems.
10. Release Pre-Flight QC
Release Pre-Flight QC is a technical, practical and release-focused review designed to reduce avoidable problems before upload.
It may include checks such as clicks, pops, hard cuts, bad tails, start/end silence, true peak or inter-sample peak risk, DC offset, codec behavior, mono compatibility, export hygiene, metadata traps, artwork traps and AI / hybrid release risk notes where relevant.
Pre-Flight QC does not guarantee distributor or platform approval.
11. Refunds and cancellations
Because audio services are custom work based on the client’s files and instructions, refunds are handled according to the stage of the project.
If work has not started, a cancellation or refund may be possible.
If work has started, a partial refund may be considered depending on the amount of work already completed.
If the agreed work has been completed or final files have been delivered, refunds are normally not available unless required by applicable law.
Custom work, urgent work, repair work, AI-related work, QC reviews and production rebuilds may be non-refundable once work has begun.
For consumer clients in the EU, statutory withdrawal rights may apply to distance contracts in some cases. If you request that custom service work starts before the end of the withdrawal period, you may be asked to confirm that you understand the service begins immediately and that refund rights may be affected once work has started or been completed.
12. Delivery
Deliverables depend on the agreed service.
Possible deliverables may include:
- WAV masters
- Stem masters
- Mixed files
- Remastered files
- Rebuilt production files
- QC notes
- Fix notes
- Project feedback
- Other agreed exports or reports
Unless agreed otherwise, project files, DAW sessions, plugin chains, presets and internal working files are not included.
13. File storage
Unsaid Records may keep project files for a limited time after delivery for backup, revisions, support or record purposes.
Long-term storage is not guaranteed.
You should download delivered files promptly and keep your own backups.
14. Portfolio and confidentiality
Unsaid Records will not publicly share your unreleased music, private files or confidential project materials without permission.
If both sides agree, completed work may be mentioned or shown as a portfolio, credit, testimonial or before/after example.
15. Third-party platforms and tools
Some projects may involve third-party tools or platforms such as file-sharing services, streaming links, audio analysis tools, AI-detection tools, distribution platforms or communication tools.
Unsaid Records is not responsible for outages, policies, data handling, file deletion, detection results, delivery problems or approval decisions made by third-party platforms.
16. Limitation of liability
Unsaid Records is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, missed release dates, distributor rejections, platform takedowns, copyright claims, Content ID claims, monetization issues or business losses unless required by applicable law.
The maximum liability for a project is limited to the amount paid for that specific service, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
17. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date.
